Today is our first official day of summer break! Grant had the opportunity to spend a few days in the mountains with his buddies... fishing, go-carts, the lake and all that BOY stuff! Blair and I finished up with our last workday yesterday... boy, did we accumulate a lot over the years. Lots of boxes, lots of junk, lots of memories for sure. We will miss the great folks that we've had the pleasure of working with these past years. I'm sure our paths will cross again in some capacity one day!And speaking of accumulating things... 10 years in this house and it looks like 50 years worth of "stuff". Again, lots of boxes, lots of junk, and lots of memories! Deciding what to keep, throw away, pack away or give away has been a bit of a challenge. I can see now why some people never really leave home... too much to deal with, but we're getting through it. Actually the whole getting rid of thing, is kind of FREEING.
We received our agenda this week, for our first week of orientation, with lots of great details and expectations. It has been very exciting realizing how close we really are to taking off 7,000 miles away, to a place we've never been! Knowing there are wonderful folks there waiting on us, gives us a great sense of peace and confidence.
Well, guess that's it for now... Father's Day is a couple of days away, and guess I'll post again around Independence Day (just something about holidays with me)... until then~ Kim
