30 Days and Counting...

Believe it or not, we are only 1 month away from our departure date! We are packed up and out of the house, and the Hamrick's are moved in and taking great care of things already! Our families have had cookouts and parties for us, to prepare for our move, and for that we are so appreciative! We are spending these next few weeks visiting family and friends. A week at Grandfather Mountain last week, found us biking 18 miles on the Virginia Creeper Trail (of course 15 of those miles were downhill!!!), watching part of the Highland Games, racing g0-carts, fishing and my favorite, dining outdoors at a couple wonderful restaurants with Hope and David! This week we're at the beach... enjoying some sunshine and relaxing a bit. We will be flying out on August 11, and arriving in Dubai on August 12. Excitement and curiosity is filling our minds, and we are ready to do this thing. So for those of you who are following us, we appreciate you and count it a privilege that you have an interest in our lives. Until next time...
